This ballpoint pen utilizes the techniques of Japan’s first Japanese ballpoint pen manufacturer. It’s a high-quality ballpoint pen, made in Hiroshima. The origami crane, drawn on the body with a single stroke, represents wishes for peace and hope, and a desire to rise like light into the sky.

Based on the highest-grade model among Sailor Pen’s ballpoint pens, incorporating advanced technology, we have obtained special permission to combine different colors on the upper and lower parts [upper part (deep purple), lower part (dark blue) with glitter] to create an original custom design.

We were drawn to the corporate philosophy of the EARTH Hiroshima brand, which aims to connect Hiroshima with the world, and felt a natural affinity with Sailor Pen's founding vision of establishing a presence in the port city of Kure and eventually exporting its products overseas. This led us to embark on product development centered around Sailor's flagship brand.
This pen features a body colored to blend naturally with the environment, an aesthetic cherished in Japan since ancient times, and is the culmination of our long-cultivated expertise in writing instrument manufacturing.
